About Us: History

Fluke Venture Partners is a wholly independent venture capital firm investing the assets of a broad range of individual and institutional limited partners.

The firm was originally formed in 1982 as a stand-alone division of Fluke Capital Management, L.P. (FCM) tasked with assembling a successful and deliberately diverse portfolio of venture capital investments on behalf of the Fluke family.

In 2004, Dennis Weston and Kevin Gabelein spun FVP out of FCM as an independent venture capital organization. While FVP does continue to manage FCM's existing venture capital portfolio, the firm is no longer a division of FCM, nor does it maintain any affiliation with Fluke Corporation.
